I could turn Scramble alcoholic with my patented "tootsie roll"...

How about you send me the recipe.....then maybe I won't feel like the only alcoholic in the house

It's the fact that they burn the beans to increase the caffine content. Hyper caffiniated coffee may have cropped up everywhere in the US, and with Espresso available on every street corner, it's a little less special.

But Timmy's is still the most caffine that you can get in a coffee for under $2.

It's a popular misconception that Espresso and other dark roasted coffee's have more caffeine. In reality, they contain far less caffeine then the lighter roasts because the roasting process caramelizes the caffeine. A cup of Espresso contains about 40mg of caffeine compared to the stuff you brew at home which contains 85mg.

And as for Timmy's being the most caffeine you can get for under $2. Its cheaper to invest in a good thermos and brew your own...not that I don't enjoy a good Tim's coffee every so often but my coffee consumption could put me in the poor house if I didn't make the majority myself.

I have to agree with you on that one. I Get the After Eight hot chocolate mix, and it's delightful with a shot of Kahlua or creme liquor.

Aren't you the guy who kept saying that you don't drink when we were at your house for the convention??

You know Raptor admitting you have a problem is the first step to knowing you have a problem and knowing is.......:D

I did a quick check on Viarail.ca and there are still trains from Toronto  to Montreal. Its about a 4-5:30 hour trip and if you book in advance and you don't need to have flexible tickets (can't change the date..so on and so forth) its about $170.

You know you can drive down with your wife...which would be cheaper and then road trips could become part of your couple identity.

I'd like to answer your challenge but I don't seem to have the time right now, maybe in a week or two.

I just wanted to point out to Morgardee that one of the reasons the shelves are so expensive is because they have a glass door and glass shelves. Like Raptor was saying any shelves will do. We just decided to go with the closed in stuff to avoid having to dust really often and the glass shelves make it so we don't need lights. We have another closed in shelf unit in the living room (not for joes) and its pretty dark mot of the time, we'll have to add lights soon.

Scramble, you shouldn't post pictures, just to force Raptor to come to Montreal and see the shelves/toy room in person and at the same time I can repay his hospitality with some recipes of my own. I've been working on a chicken stir-fry with peanut sauce...It's close to perfection, I just have to see if I can repeat the process. One month later and your omelet is still on my mind.

Yearly CanJoeCon Discussion / What happened?

Although I don't collect joes, I still managed to have a great time at the meet. You guys are a great bunch, I guess that's why I don't mind driving like 9 hours (2 of which were in Toronto traffic) to come to a joe meet.

It was cool to see all the CAWs and fun watching the wrestling. I'll try and talk Scamble into letting me buy a PS2 so I can come back next year and dominate you guys in the ring.

My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to play the TCG and defend my reign. But there's always the Montreal Meet??

After seeing Raptor's display cases and Mike's toy room I had a million ideas on how to decorate mine and Scramble's toy room.....Those display cases are awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Introductions / Anyone need a ride??

I just recently attended the joe meet in Hamilton with Scamble. This is where I was dubbed TankGirl after I destroyed everyone with my Cobra Vehicle deck.

I just wanted to say I had a great time at the meet and the custom Joe's I saw were awesome. I might try my hand at making a few.
