I loved the original Interrogator. One of my favorite molds of all time. Hard to improve on it.

They improve it by giving him a removable helmet. I can't wait to see more!

I think I would rather see a Barbecue with a removable helmet like back in the show, but I don't know if I'd still call it an improvement.

While the original Interrogator had a relatively small head ( but cool enough to use for a custom BAT ), the only improvement that this figure needs is an accurately proportioned head.

I'm hoping that some of the figures will be first-time character renditions like 2007' Claymore (who appeared in The Traitor Gi joe 2 part episodes).

I personally don't want Interrogator with a removable helmet.

It removes that whole mystery about the character.
And most likely Fun Publication's idea of what he looks like will not match mine.

The brochure is now up. First thing I noticed was they now call it the "International G.I. Joe Collectors convention". Was it always called "International" or does this plus our usual convention date mean that Fun Publications is concerend?

Aside from that, the set sounds good. Red Shadows and all that. Anyone from around here going?

I'm thinking seriously to going at the convention.  I'm very very happy with the Red Shadows Boxset and the convention is only six hours driving from my home.

If they had left the date for the convention at the end of June start of July I would have gladly gone to the convention.
The family and I have always wanted to go to Rhode Island and Maine but I would really only go in the summer months.

I'm in the same boat.  Work is crazy then(April/May) and no time off.  June/July is easier to schedule a few days off.  Cool sounding set though unlike last year.  They must have been listening to the fans.

Not bad, but I was hoping for a little more out of this character.

Did they use Hardballs body? I heard that they ran into problems with one of the figures and had to change one of the parts 4 times. Hopefully that's the part that caused them problems because honestly, I'm not impressed. I'm hoping the rest of the set is a bit better.
