Title: New Seven Packs Up For Pre-order!
Post by: Kronz on July 08, 2009, 05:23:26 PM: Got a tip on Yojoe that Smalljoes has added the new long-awaited 7-packs to the preorder section of their site! I didn't hesitate, these are far more exciting than movie toys, and I am pretty excited about those too.

These are "online" only. There are Canadian online sites that you can order from, but you won't find them at mass retail. I could see comic shops carrying them as well.

Post by: Kronz on July 10, 2009, 10:28:19 AM: As far as I know they will be distro'd through Previews too, so they will be in comic shops after a while. Since army builders will be buying these more readily you might want to get them early, that's my thought.

FYI, for toy companies and retailers, there are only two seasons: Spring and Fall.

Spring = January 1st to June 30th
Fall = July 1st to December 31st

So yes, we're getting them in the Fall, just not our usual definition of Fall ???

There are still loads of the desert & arctic teams in the shops... I don't think I'll have much trouble finding these, if I look hard enough.

I'm pretty interested in the vipers, though... Don't know if I'll army-build them, but it'd be nice to have a few different vipers in my set-up. I'll have to stop by my comic shops to see if they're getting any before I decide, I guess.

I get annoyed sometimes because we're so far south that it takes us a while to get new releases. And then I think about a lot of you poor guys in the Great White North who have to wait ages, if ever, for new figures and exclusives, and I don't feel so annoyed anymore...
