GI Joe on Teletoon Retro
« on: July 26, 2009, 11:27:08 PM »

My PVR got a hit for a continuous stream of GI Joe on Teletoon Retro for August 1st.  Looks like it is either to promote the movie and/or DVD.

Its a marathon, starting at 9am. Probably intended to promote the movie.

I like Retro, it shows a lot of the cartoons and shows I was a fan of as a kid. Its nice to see which ones still hold up ( which is not many).

I'm going to assume its the Sunbow cartoon.  They had this a little while back already, didn't they?

I never saw the DIC episodes, for whatever reason. they should get those.

I ended up with 44 or so episodes on my PVR. That's a lot of Joe.

From what I could see it was mostly season 1 episodes.

Looks like more episodes are playing on Sunday September 13th.  Not a marathon this time around, but definitely a few episodes.

I think I forgot to set them save till I manually deleted them!

Well, now I have reason to buy the rest of the DVDs, right?

I guess it is just a single episode with a repeat cycle during the day.  Looks like more next Sunday, seems to be getting semi-regular.
