Wild Rose Antique Show April 8 &9
« on: April 01, 2006, 09:06:46 PM »

Just a head's up that the BIG Wild Rose Antique Show is coming up next weekend.

Wild Rose 31st Annual Antique and Collectibles Sale
April 8 & 9
Northlands Agricom
7300-116 ave
Edmonton, Alberta
Saturday 9am - 6pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm
Admission $7

This is a great show to find some vintage deals from several different toy lines. It's also just a great show in general and worth checking out because of it's scale. I'll be there Saturday morning.

Thanks for keeping us posted on these.  I couldn't make it to this one.  Was there much for Joes?

I guess the next event is probably the Pop Culture Fair.  Might be there might not.

There was the usual fair of loose vehicles, playsets and figures as well as  few MIB and MOC pieces. It was definatley worth checking out.

I picked up the score of the century tho: A 6ft long, clear plastic store display from Consumers Distributing:

:D

The Pop Culture Fair should be good. I'll have a table but i'm not sure how much Joe stuff i'll have. Maybe some Polish bootlegs.

Do you have any pictures of the Polish bootlegs?  I am curious to see what they look like.

I'm asking $50 Cdn each as they're incredibly rare.

I'm going to have a comprehensive article posted up in the next couple of months that really details the whole line and a lot more of them will be shown.

Thanks for the photos.  Much appreciated.  I might have to poll the relatives if they have ever seen any like these.
