30th Anniversary Dial-Tone by OB
« on: May 23, 2013, 08:28:51 AM »

I haven't posted any new customs in a while. I have been working on a few side projects (including a commission job for a fellow Joe fan) over the last few months. But I have decided to take a break from all that for a few days and post up a few new customs. The first one is a redo of my Dial-Tone custom.

In my opinion, the Club's Dial-Tone is... lacking (no disrespect to the Club, they do fantastic things, but DT was disappointing. I digress) and I never was satisfied with my attempt using 25th parts. So here is my new version, 30th anniversary style, of Dial-Tone.

Enjoy,

OB

Thanks man. Actually the second pic ARAH, my first custom (25th style) and my latest (30th style). I never bothered getting the Club's version. It is pretty horrible from top to bottom. I'm not trying to be critical, they work with different limitations than we customizers do, but their DT was never a piece I wanted for my collection.

Now, what to do with my first custom? Take it apart? Sell it?

Please PM me if you have a price in mind, assuming you'd entertain the idea of selling it.

Thanks.

Wow. That makes me want to break out my parts and get back into customizing.

Great work.
