Title: Favourite Joe 'era'
Post by: Metro on February 19, 2004, 03:15:43 PM: I'm sure everyone has been asked this before, but I was curious as to which year of joes was your favourite.

Being the young buck that I am, I didn't really start collecting joes 'til about '87 or '88. However, my favourite year is probably '86. Although the previous years had so many of the major characters, I mostly remember watching Joe after school on WUTV with all the '86'ers.

Post by: Pete The Greek on February 19, 2004, 06:19:10 PM: Tough call. It's either 1984, 1985 or 1986 for me. If I had to pick one, I go with 1984. Mutt, Firefly, Storm Shadow, Zartan and Baroness are still some of the best figures ever made.

Things were never the same after the movie. sigh....

Post by: Agent_Loop on February 19, 2004, 07:34:15 PM: Eventhough 84 had cool different characters from Torpedo to Snowjob; I still have to go with 86 because that was what I remembered best, since I was only four at the time. 87 and 88 rocked too because of the playsets. I would definitely say 87.

well, I will say that's definitely a unique choice. I was all about Blizzard & Shockwave that year. :thumbsup:

Post by: Jon S. on February 24, 2004, 12:33:20 AM: I got into Joes in '87, so I'd say that's my year of choice. When I was young my favorite figures were Law & Order, Falcon and Psyche-Out. The Crazylegs thing only started about 6 years ago.
