Happy new year 2024! I wish you all a lot of cool Joes products, so much choice and very interesting time to be a collector! And congrats to all who received their classified HISS in time for the holidays!

Happy New Year everyone!!

Well everyone who is left lurking on here.  (All 4-5 of us)

Hope you had a good 2023 and an even better 2024.

My last purchases of 2023 were Ripper and Buzzer who I found at a local Walmart.  Both are great representations of the Dreadnoks, even with some wonky bits (glasses, weapons).   They bode well for the rest of the Dreadnoks when they finally get released (hopefully this year).

2024 looks to be another expensive year, but I am hoping the Joe team does slow it down a bit this year to save my poor wallet.

I think I might bite on the latest PP figures and Trubble Bubble as my first purchases of the new year.  We'll see.

Watched ToyKonnections and ToyHabits unboxing/reviews.

These are really nicely done figures, and they clearly put a lot of effort into them.

Even though a lot of the designs are pretty cool looking I don't see me being interested enough to buy them.  If they were on retail shelves, for under $15 I would probably bite on impulse.  However the way they are offered makes it easier for me to pass on them.

Here's hoping they do really well, especially since they have a Canadian foundation.

WOW!!

The Full Force Podcast is reporting that JTPrime17, who is a notoriously accurate leaker, has posted finding a listing for another Joe x TF collab.

Apparently it is Optimus Prime as the MOBAT with General Hawk!!!!

I highly doubt there will be working treads, let alone motorized ones at that.  Mostly because I can't see how that would work with the transformation.  Still I can't wait to see what they did to make this work for Prime.

I do worry that we are going to get a bit of a mess of a transformation, ala Megatron/HISS.   Hopefully I'm wrong.

As for Hawk, it does say General Hawk so I would assume it is the 86 version and not the Colonel Hawk 82 version.

As much as I love the idea that HasLabs are unique and their limited runs make them special.  I would really like to see this released to regular retail channels, but in Blue, Red, White - or dare I say shiny chrome?

I can see them releasing an Arctic Hiss somewhere. I said elsewhere that if I can get another one cheap enough, I'll take it apart, and get it chromed up like the HATE.

I opened mine last night and looked at it. Can't set it up until my new showcase arrives.

Speaking of which, I have no use for this Gunner or the fa choice fgure.. so if anyone wants to trade a Driver for either one, LMK.

WOW - just wow, this thing is huge, but not cumbersome to move around.  It feels like it is well built, and the electronics add to it nicely.  The small attention to details, and the options to make your HISS tank unique are amazing.  Makes me wish I could of afforded to buy 2 or more. As much as I thought I would be putting the clear driver cover on, in hand I prefer the red/black gull wing look.

The figures are also excellent, not a single quality issue with the three I opened (not sure that I will open CC, as I like the look on the classic card back). The shovel is a little flimsy, and I don't think I will be swapping hands, but the option to be able to do so is appreciated.

The fire team, looks great next to the HISS and is a very nice compliment.

IT HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man is the box big and heavy.

I guess I gave FedEx too much credit. It was only the HISS, no sign of Fire Team 788. Driver said it is probably on another truck. Oh well.

Oh and thank you Hasbro for the excellent packaging job. Mine looked like someone dropped it because there was a quarter sized chunk dented in pretty severely on one edge. However after opening it up the extra boxes protected the HISS box as there is no damage to it at all. Thank you.

Now to find the time, and space, to open everything up.

Oh and I did have to sign for it.
