25th anniversary Joes at Toys R Us
« on: October 07, 2007, 05:30:11 PM »

I know I'm a little bit late, but I went to Toys R Us (TRU) at St-Bruno today and there were no GI Joe there... at all!

Do you know if TRU Quebec got them? ... and Anjou?

Unless their is French on the package, and there isn't, there is no way they will be showing up Qu?bec TRUs.

I'm not sure it's still true... I don't know if the law change recently, but I bought yesterday at TRU a Star Wars Starfighter. The box and inside instruction were only in English. Strange?

By the way, I don't understand why they don't produce toys with box and instructions in 4 languages already (English, French, Spanish and Portuguese)...  ???

Did someone go to TRU Anjou looking for 25th ann. Joes?

Once in a while some items will slip through.
Take the reissue transformers, some made it to TRU Anjou awhile back.

Not at all, either inside or outside.

I didn't think to look on the Web, but it also says "Currently not available". Selling it 39,99 (free of shipping with order of 39,99 or more) is about the same price (or higher) comparing to Smalljoes 26,99 + shipping +customs (sometime?)

I haven't seen them in stores, and I doubt that they'll hit general retail.  Damn language laws screw us over so bad...
