2011 Series 03 - April 2011 Release
- Blowtorch
- Cobra - The Enemy
- Cobra Commander
- General Hawk
- Jungle B.A.T.
- Steel Brigade

2011 Series 04 - April 2011 Release
- Snake Eyes Temple Guardian
- Crazy Legs
- Croc Master
- Rock Viper
- Viper
- Iron Grenadier

The Pursuit of Cobra line has been, IMO the best line of Joes ever. The 25th stuff was excellent, but I really enjoy the way POC is taking things beyond a nostalgia trip.

It will be really cool to see new interpretations of Hawk, Steel Brigade and Rock Viper. I expect the Crazylegs fig to be a faithful rendition of the original (a la Lowlight)

Toy Fair can't come soon enough!

With the latest SE the bar is pretty high.
I'm really looking forward these new figures and Blowtorch is on top of my list.

they over-did it for me after the second one in '85.

Will be easier to justify buying a case. I might actually do that and give the extras to my little cousins.

Sorry on my phone right now, but generaljoes has pics of a Volcano Viper in Blowtorch colours that most people are assuming will be the POC Blowtorch listed in wave 5.  If that is the case, then it is a definite disappointment.

Since the Volcano Viper was released I doubt Hasbro would simply repack it as a Joe.

Plus the figure would make him to "Bulky" to be a Joe.

I want to see what Hawk looks like.  I always liked V2.

Why not?  Hasbro always gets multiple uses out of it's molds and this mold hasn't been reused for any other release so far.

Google gave me this link:

When I try to find it on General Joes I get the regular Volcano Viper

If it is Blowtorch, he's defected to Cobra! Splitter!

If you're a member, you can log into the GIJCC site and see the pics. Here are some initial impressions:

Blowtorch: 100% repaint of the anniversary version. Some extra gear. I might get one, but I'm not super impressed.

Hawk: Kitbashed from PoC Recondo legs, Reso BH vest, Reso Destro briefcase. Nothing about the figure screams Hawk, but the parts combo and color palette make for a great PoC Greenshirt.

Steel Brigade: Kinda Classic look. Khaki pants, light blue shirt, green vest. Great accessories. Not as impressive as I was hoping for, but still a good figure. I was planning on troop building these in great numbers, I might cut back on those plans somewhat.

Cobra Commander: Mix between Reso CC and the unreleased PoC CC. Includes accessories from the MASS Device.

Cobra Trooper: The ultimate Cobra Blueshirt! Shock Trooper body, Best of 80s head and helmet. Includes RPG launcher and barbed wire. I will buy every one that I can get my hands on!

Jungle BAT: We've seen the prototype. Includes wave 4 Destro's chaingun.

Crazy Legs: 100% classic look. Snow Serpent legs, Lift Ticket body and arms. Great addition to the classics line up.

Rock Viper: Really a strange mish mash of parts. I'm not sure what to make of this one yet...

Snake Eyes Temple Guardian: Snake Eyes Samurai version. Pass.

Viper: Shock Trooper body with 25th Viper head (chrome version of the head without the chrome), vest, gun and backpack. Looks great, but isn't a revolutionary look for the figure.

Croc Master: 100% re-use of the 25th version with added accessories. I'll probably pass.

Iron Grenadier: Wave 4 Destro body and armor with a 25th IG head. I might pick up a couple, but won't troop-build massively.

Hazard Viper: Lava Viper repaint in orange. Similar to the one that showed up a few months ago, with some changes. A pretty decent figure, I'll pick a few.

Techno-Viper: 100% classic look and accessories. People are going to be tripping over themselves to buy this figure.

All in all, a good mix. People that don't like re-used parts will be complaining because there are a lot of kitbashes/repaints. IMHO, they are pretty well done however.
