You should get the camera that olyeller uses see the quote from the A-Team van review:

Believe it or not, my photo set up is two standard white poster boards, one on the floor and one leaned up against the laundry room doors in my apartment as a backdrop.  The lighting is simply the florescent lights in my kitchen.  For close up interior shots, I usually just turn on the flash.  Trust me, the camera makes all the difference here - it's a Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS.  Not even the most expensive camera in the world (it was $150 after Christmas this past year) but it takes really badass photos, and is very easy to use.

no problem, I use a Digital SLR camera instead of a point and shoot camera.  I have a Nikon D50 and it takes great Pics.

Shark, I looked at quite a few reviews of digital cameras before I bought my Canon, and it came out rated as highly as a lot of the $300 and $400 models.  It's a DREAM to use, just set it on "Auto," hold it still, and take the picture.  It's very good about adjusting to the ambient light conditions, and the software that it comes with makes it very fast and easy to download the photos onto your computer.  It even organizes them for you by date taken, with each date having its own folder.

Oh yeah, and it takes very damn good HD video too, but you better have a big-ass memory card for that one.
