MOC cards poster(s)
« on: August 21, 2013, 09:28:18 PM »

Hello Everyone,

I'm probably late here, but I just discovered: http://www.3djoes.com/merch.html

Along with 360 video of GI Joe figs, this guy is printing poster featuring every GI Joe figure from 1982-1989 and is working on another project featuring every figure from 1990-1994. While the first available poster looks very nice, I'm making a poll here to help him about his MOC fig poster. As you can see below, there are two options (basically with or without Tomax & Xamot 2-pack):

Option 1: 24" x 36" poster features every single carded figure from 1982-1985. The Tomax & Xamot two-pack is not included

Option 2:
Two (2) 24" x 36" posters feature every carded figure from 1982-1985 as well as the Tomax & Xamot two-pack

Additional information:
  • From what I understand, cost is about $20/poster (so $20 for option #1 and $40 for option #2) and shipping to Canada is $14  :)
  • Price tag on cards would be photoshop out
Which one would you like the most?

I'd view Tomax / Xamot as a vehicle pack and leave them off the poster.

I have no favorite: I LOVE both! Is this normal? One thing's for sure: I can't vote unless there was a "I'd buy both" option or "Burgess Meredith visited me in my dreams and recommended that I best save my money for some vintage Care Bears...! " I'd buy that for a dollar, y-a-a-ah!!!  ;)

I'm a Twins fan so I would get the one with them!

Awesome poster. Definitely the one without the Twins. They just don't fit, both literally and thematically. I have a rule that I basically don't buy posters anymore. I have about 10 posters and art prints, and some original comic art that I need to hang and don't have the space yet, so another poster would just end up in storage. But this one is very tempting!

I'd view Tomax / Xamot as a vehicle pack and leave them off the poster.

I see they don't fit very well beside others. But, a vehicle pack... really?

I feel sad to left them apart...

If you're going to include the twins you have to include Listen n Fun Tripwire. He's more a carded figure than the twins!

I like the single sheet better than the pair.
This would just be personal preference, but if I had my way I would photoshop out the price tags.

If you include the Twins, you may as well find some way to get Zartan in there.

I'd prefer something like this, that was released in Scandanavia...
