Was at the Woodbridge store today. Picked up Buzzer and a Trooper. They didn't even scan in, they had to scan in some sigma figure and re-price to $9.99. Someone beat me to Beachhead and Lady Jaye though. I left behind a Serpentor and Storm Shadow if anyone is interested.

You were lucky to get the trooper. I'm sort of kicking myself for not ordering the wave 1 figures when they first came out in the US. I'm starting to think they will be skipped in Canada and now it's going to be hard to find them.

With the strong Canadian dollar, it's cheaper to buy them from the US right now anyway (even including shipping)

Hopefully Hasbro will get their act together and produce these in much greater quantities (including wave 1). I bought wave one on ebay (minus Flint) for just under $40 Canadian, shipped which is still cheaper than the Toys R Us price. Still, it was cool to find the one lonely peg there at TRU with the bunch of 25th figures it had.

Has there been any sign of TRU actually re-stocking these beyond the 1 or 2 cases some stores seemed to have received?

TRU in St. Catharines got in 2 of each of the first set of 5 packs. That's it. Now there isn't even shelf space for the 25th.

Stealth Viper, if you do happen to see an extra Flint and Cobra Officer can you let me know...I know those are Wave 1 but cybertron.ca says a few of those are trickling in (although they may just mean the carry-overs CC, SE & SS).

I have been to 4 TRUs in my area: one TRU had Serpentor, Buzzer, Cobra Trooper, SS and CC, one TRU only had CC and the other two TRUs had none.  So if you guys are looking to get complete waves, go the ebay route. It's next to impossible right now to complete a wave set with this crappy one/two case crap distribution.  Plus it's cheaper.

Agreed, I got the troop builder 5 pack shipped for less than $40 Canadian. Sad that I can get it across the border and to my door cheaper than I can buy it at retail...

Has anyone ever dealt with The Big Bad Toy Store (online store)? I currently have wave 3 pre-ordered from there (cheaper than what it would cost to find all five at Toys R Us) and I was wondering if anyone had any previous experiences they'd like to share.

Never dealt with them.  And I don't even bother with pre-orders any more.
