« on: February 23, 2011, 10:25:07 PM »

Rising Sun Comics are back !

Instead of making a bunch of threads I'll just make one here, and update it as issues become available.

So this is the Action Force/Argen 7/Action Man/World War III Interludes/MASK/COPS, ect. by Rising Sun Comics preview thread

And first up is the February 2011 issue  a prequel of sorts to ACTION Force RED DAWN, the Argen 7 mini- series begins with Issue 1 , released in 2 covers !

Check out the 4 page preview below, and order your copy today by going here : http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/store/002/index.html

Cost is based on where you live so make sure to tell them where you live, so they can calculate the cost for you.

Also check out the yojoe.com comics section for a massive update to the Rising Sun Comics Section, including summaries and a cover gallery for all past issues and a cover gallery of MOST of the  upcoming issues/series from Rising Sun Comics !

Interesting start, the international python guys, dr. knox, starduster, ninja ku.  On the b cover, mortal and invasors.

I noticed the writing credits include Larry Hama along with yourself, any info you could share on that one?

Yeah, we got all those brazilian and Argentinean guys in there , plus some more back story on where Dr Knox came from and why she just SUDDENLY popped up in the RAH marvel series towards the end of its original run.

And as for Larry Hama, he scripted the panels/action of several of the pages. No text what so ever, but he had a hand in SOME of the pages

basically, THIS GUY IS DRIVING A TRUCK in this panel, the ninja guy jumps to the other truck, ect ect kind of thing

That's pretty cool, thanks for sharing.  I was checking out those other rising sun comics on the previews page, made the connection between the red shadows of old and the ddp red shadows, which I think is a cool idea.  Personally I like continuity, and pretty much stay clear of reboots, restarts, and reimaginings (except that ww II dreamwave crossover with the transformers, I liked it quite a bit).
