I've heard some people who want to come to this years meet Joe Canuck meet but are trying to save money on a hotel room. I thought I would start a thread where anyone who wants to come up could speak up and let it be known they want to split the cost of a room for the night.
This is not an official thing so please don't send Mike a bunch of emails about room, etc... This is just to get an idea of who's coming for sure and wants to save a few bucks. It's up to every to find their own bunk mate and all that good stuff.
This is what I do know. When I called to ask they said a room with one King bed is $149.00 a night. A room with 2 queen size beds is $169.00. If you have a "AAA" card you'll get a decent discount. That's for the hotel where the event takes place. The phone number is 905 383 7772 if anyone wants to do more research or book their rooms.
