Title: GI Joe Card Tournament
Post by: Scramble on December 12, 2004, 10:39:38 AM
Just to get it out there, who would be interested in a tournament of the new GI Joe card game at the next meet? There will be tutorials for anyone that has a deck but hasn't had a chance to play yet, and Mike's brought in packs for anyone that watches the demo games and is interested in playing. I could help with deck building for the new players, but options will naturally be limited unless you buy a box of boosters.

A game plays in at most ten minutes, so a bracket tournament could be finished in an hour. It won't take too large a chunk out of the meet, so don't worry about missing out on the socializing, trading, and the other events Mike has on tap for us.

I'd either participate or help. But you knew that already...

With the TCG apparently cancelled, will we still have this booth to promote an awesome but dead game based on our beloved franchise?

I don't see why not!

We still enjoy our 'dead-line' Joe toys from the 80s!
