Hey folks!

I saw a special screening of the movie Elektra yesterday.

First of all, I want to make something clear: the preview does show much of the action scenes, yup you read right. This movie about the veloptuous assassin in red is more about her personal feelings towards the world than an actual action flick.

I won't resume the movie since the scenario might easily be found on the net (probably). Most of the movie involves flashback of Elektra's childhood and her relation with a teenage girl who happens to be exactly like her (oh boy...)

The preview showed us some pretty cool effects and a bunch of super villains ....the tatoo guy whose tattoos come out of his body to make animal spy, the kinky witch who she decay everything she touches (or kiss) The huge indestructible black dude (indestructible my ass) a skinny dude who does almost nothing and the samurai kinda guy in white. All those nasty characters depicted as super forces of nature last about a minute of action each, some less than that.

The action scenes were pretty expeditive and short....kinda deceiving.

The good of the movie

NINJAS!!!!!!!!!!!

even if they don't last much like the rest....

Sorry for the fans of the character but I only give this movie a 6/10. It was somewhat entertaining and had ninjas BUT involved too much teenage girl crisis moments for my taste

I never followed Elektra.  But after watching Daredevil on a trip to Vancouver, I may watch it because she is a Greek character.   :D

If it's no better than the train wreck that was daredevil, I'll skip it.

Was it the preview at the cinema of the Quartier latin? I was there too with my GF...

Was expecting more out of this movie... ah well, ended up with 3 posters and 2 cheapo bracelets for free! :P

It's already getting bad reviews.  Just like most movies, I will wait for it when it gets airplay on the dish.

I thought Daredevil was good despite Ben Affleck. I bought the first eight issues of the Elektra comic before getting tired of her. If the comic isn't good, how can the movie be?

Easily!

I don't care for the Hellboy comics, but I loved the movie.

Same with X-Men. I don't care for the comics, but the movies are good.
