Nice.  There are some pretty cool sets, in there.

I kind of wish they'd release the old toys under the 25th line also, though.  It's nice that they're coming out at all - but it'd be nice to have them in the original 25th paint schemes.

I agree.  I'm not collecting movie figures but I want those small stations.

Just a quick update that I spotted the PIT at both TRU (3), and Wal-Mart (2) on Regent. Still lots of figures at both locations.

Zellers at Kildonan Place on Regent (across the road) also had figures and smaller vehicles and Raven, all in a display stand in the middle of the aisle. you can't miss it.

I've seen the movie figures and vehicles in Zellers here in Winnipeg just today,  so they should have them.

It says the wrist are fixed. It also says it's a troop builders dream but I find that a bit presumptuous. I'm a troop builder and while I enjoyed get the first round of Crimson Strike team figures, I'm passing on this years set because it's already been done and it's WAY to expensive. They want $280 (USD) for a set. That works out to $21.70 per figure in Canadian funds. That is way too much for something where they didn't have to make any new molds or even go looking for the molds like in the past.

This year master Collector set is all set to fail for a bunch of reasons. the obvious reasons are the lazy rehash or a set done 7 years ago and the switch the 25th anniversary styled figures. I really wonder if there was any consideration given to the fact that all the movie toys just came out this week in both Canada in the US. There is stacks of G.I. Joe product and from what I'm reading, most of us don't want to spend even $9.44 on the new figure, never mind $21.70.

Bad choice in themes, bad choice in going to 25th anniversary style and just plain bad timing.

I'll get my figures when they go on clearance in a couple of years. Look at the sale the fun publishing just had with all the previous exclusives. You know these are going to be on sale some day.

has it been seven years already! I remember on yojoe-the pit mailing group when those first came out, it was like sliced bread for hype, I can certainly understand why they want to re-visit probably their best ever released set.

Exclusives are nice but I would rather spend that money on other joe stuff. I'm sure most of those sets will be up on ebay within a week.

I think the Ice Viper looks great.  Big and bulky like you should expect with all of that winter gear on.

But I do agree the Neo Viper I have is weak - not digging the design.

I can't help but look at these neo vipers and think how would I use them for the 25th line and to me I think I'd use them as frag vipers. Anybody else look at Firefly with the gunship and think Mamba pilot?

Its mildly amusing at best. Typos are a common thing in printing.

I never picked up the box (nor do I intend too). I'm interested in seeing the back of that Cobra Drill machine to see that Serpentor/Croc master figure though.

I voted already, but I really didn't have any questions at this time, since the focus for Hasbro is to push the movie line.

When the movie line ends I'm hoping to have some questions that they can give an answer to instead of the usual "this has been put on hold while we pusue the movie toy line".
