Title: For those standing in line for a Convention Set.
Post by: BHMike on May 01, 2009, 06:27:41 AM
A few reminders for those of you lining up early for the Convention Set.

1. As stated in another thread, please line up to the LEFT of the main entrance doors to the Convention Centre - outside the building.

2. Please read this thread: http://www.joecanuck.com/joe/board/inde ... pic=3334.0 (http://www.joecanuck.com/joe/board/index.php?topic=3334.0)

3. Also please read this thread: http://www.joecanuck.com/joe/board/inde ... pic=3388.0 (http://www.joecanuck.com/joe/board/index.php?topic=3388.0)

4. There is a McDonalds across the street from the Convention Centre - Canadian McDonalds are currently giving away a FREE coffee in the mornings. They're promoting it as a "small coffee" only, but I know some people that have asked for a large, and still got it free. I suggest some you take them up on that offer. Free is free, and if I drank coffee, I'd be getting one myself! ;-)

Coffee is all fine and good, but more importantly, where are the closest donut shops?

Tim Horton's IS a donut shop...and they have sandwiches, soups, and other stuff.

Ok, that's awesome.  So can we just make it official to say, you can step out of line to get coffee or donuts or a bathroom break for five minutes and then get back in?

You may step out of line, but if we've already "done" your section with the wristbands, you will have to hit the end of the line to get one. Otherwise we have no proof that your friends weren't just holding a spot for you.
