Is the shortpacked CC of "value" to you?
« on: August 11, 2010, 10:09:54 AM »

With POC hitting shelves I was wondering if the new shortpacked CC on Cobra card held some sort of value to you?

Personally I find it a funny novelty, but it holds no value to me outside of being "rare.". I dislike the figure and personally have no interest in it except for trade bait.

I don't think it is as short packed has the Internet hype as made it be.  Everyone that has found the PoC figs in the stores has picked up a CC.  I got 2 yesterday in one store. Unless Hasbro planing to ship the wave 1 cases without CC soon I think hype for the COBRA card is making it bigger then it should be.

Don't care about the figure and don't plan on picking it up unless I need his legs for another figure.

The cardback is nice.  But the figure isn't nice enough for me to want to open it.

Now, maybe if it was a mail-away as originally it was supposed to be AND came with the HISS drone, it would be opened already.

I'm with you canprime.  Not crazy about the figure itself...

I took the new CC figure to the con and traded it, along with a new Spirit and Quick Kick and a Destro  comic pack for the GI Joe Resolute set. I got what I wanted and only paid half the price. If I see another CC, I might buy it, but I might not. The card is nice, but I open my figures, so a carded figure doesn't do too much for me. But that unopened Sgt Slaughter on my shelf is driving me nuts.

BTW -- it was great talking to you guys at the con.

Turner -- You must be going crazy with anticipation about next year's convention being in Orlando. I hope you can attend it so I can live vicariously through you.

Hey Roger, I just want to know if the trade was made with a seller? If yes I think I'm the new owner of this figure!  ;D
Btw I love that version of CC..
