This CC is not any more shortpacked than any other 1 per case figure. I suspect there are a lot of fans out there that just think of this as another movie figure, so demand will probably be pretty low on this as well. So I doubt he'll have any secondary market value. Besides he looks ugly IMO, so it's an easy pass for me. The cardback doesn't even do anything for me.

Well, after trading the first red card CC that I found, I found another one at Wal-Mart yesterday and decided to buy it. The card has a small nick on its bottom edge, so I might as well open it. They are out there, guys, just keep looking.

I really like the new Alley-Viper.  They fixed the backpack/gun issue and gave him some new neat accessories, but then again I liked the Defense of Cobra Island AV too.

As for Cobra Commander, he's an ok figure.  I would have gotten two if they were mail aways (one to open and one to keep boxed, like Doc) but as it is I'll just have the one, Cobra card or no.

I have a new Alley-Viper and have been unable to attach the grappling gun to his backpack, aven though it appears like they should fit together.  Is this the backpack/gun issue you're talking about?

The new Alley Viper backpacks should have a peg that now fits into the trigger guard of the grappling gun to keep it in place on the backpack.  The 25th AVs did not have the peg.

Yeah guys, my alley viper backpack has the peg but it doesn't fit the gun.  Shame.  At least the stand has two foot pegs, but the color scheme is not good (yes, I like the orange and blue way better).

Now that Raptor figured out that the gun inside the package is required to make the Predator, this figure is now of value to all who want to make the Predator!  2 reasons now to buy it!

Originally I was Meh on this guy, but I picked him up when I saw him and wow - I am impressed, he's just cool looking.

I have made him a separate figure. He's going to be an assassin, and I am looking for a good black cowboy hat for him. ;-)

Good Idea, but alas, Wild Bill has a tiny noggin and the silver mask is huge. Maybe the spy troops one will be bigger. Did any of the indy figures come with a removable hat?

Is it of value to me??

Yeah, seeing as I just bought my second one today, to keep MOC.
I like the packaging and presentation of this figure, and he's just different enough with the card to merit keeping one MOC--at least for me he is.
