Ice Cream Soldier and Pyro Team

Thanks for the comments guys!

Here's my Ice Cream Soldier

I know this looks nothing like the vintage one, but I did what I could with what I had as I don't have a vintage one's head to hollow out.  If someone has an extra vintage head and a dremel, please let me know.

Basically, this is a modernized one with slightly less bright colors...haha.

He keeps his orange from the vintage and there's some splashes of yellow.

Not sure I'll keep the bandolier.  I just had it there cause of the grenades.  If I can find a black Firefly belt, then I'll switch it up.  If anyone can help, let me know.

I want to use the Doc helmet cause that's what the vintage one used too so I made this change.  the only drawback is that the oxygen mask doesn't fit anymore, but then again, the vintage one didn't come with one either.  Also took some pictures of his backpack.  Realized I never took pics of it before.

Just for fun, I added a Rebel Fleet Trooper hat onto my Scarlett since I finally got one.

I may go and cut out the hole at the back of the hat cause I realized after taking the pics that Hasbro molded hair in the opening at the back but just never painted it, so I might just cut it open.

Finally got the sled.

He fits on it better than I was ever able to make the vintage one fit.

Slaughter and SS

Thanks!  Here's my latest:

With the 3 pack Roadblock, I finally have a vest to give Slaughter.  Still had to remove the belt from Benchpress though.  You can see in the pics how much taller the Roadblock is though.

I think I'm finally finished tinkering with my Slaughter.  The vest was the last piece of the puzzle.

Storm Shadow:
All I did was modify the bow to add string and gave him some gear.  Since the vintage had gold trim, I thought the gold backpack would be a nice touch.  This was my favourite Storm Shadow paint deco as a kid and so glad to finally have this.

Hasbro really needs to do this.  It's such a simple thing for them to do.

Big shout out for Cobrastickers for providing me with the silver Cobra sigils.

Side by sides with the Cobra Trooper for comparison:

Well, I just found out that my link to getting the GiJoeclub subscription Cover Girl can't get me one anymore for personal reasons. :(

This will have to do now.  A friend at Hisstank painted the neck for me to match her head.  I had used the ROC Covergirl head before but now that I can't get the GICC FSS Covergirl, I decided I wanted to use the comic pack head on her.

If I ever do get the FSS Covergirl, then this can be Sparta.

Did you crack the torso to put those arms on?

BTW, I like her.

Thanks to Cobrastickers, I have new stickers for my AWE Striker.  Here are some new pics with a 5 man crew:

Here's some new pics.  A friend over at Hisstank painted a helmet for me so now it's more a homage to the original with the silver trim on the helmet.

So, my first attempt at Ghostrider, I was lazy and made him with a green flight suit and used the excuse that it's better to be in green if he gets shot down.  However, he flies the Stealth Fighter and shouldn't get shot down so I decided to not be lazy and do one more close to his vintage look.  I left the chest holster brown cause I don't paint.  It works out though as a nod to the vintage one's brown holster I guess. :)

What do you think?

Capt. Jeffries without his helmet on:

I didn't want to waste the Ace figure that the legs came from, so here he is with his ground crew member:

Friend at Hisstank painted a Marauders beret for me.  Now I have a better fitting beret for Falcon.
