It's probably part of the deal to avoid competition against hasbro directly... so higher price point, no direct threat to Hasbro's market. This and the fact that they are not oring. It would have been great to see a collaboration super7/hasbro for mass market joes figures.

Anyway, regarding super7's stuff, I have only the alien figures (first movie, kenner retool of the prototype) and they are very nice.

Some super7 vehicle would be nice... A flagg to display all those sailors? lol

I think when the deal was made Hasbro probably didn't have any plans to go back to O-ring figures, and stick with ME versions of "retro" figures.  Then things changed and now they are sort of competing with each other.  Although I think the average ReAction buyer is a different audience than the average Joe buyer.

Price wise though Hasbro's new O-ring figures are actually more expensive than the ReAction Joes.  Hasbro is asking $40US for a 2-pack, so $20 each.  Super7's ReAction figures are, currently, $18US.
