No Defiant for me, no room.

I'd like the MSV set to go with my Char D'Assault (consumers tank).

That or a nice Viper Glider to go with my Falcon Glider.

I sold some spares at a show back in March before COVID shut everything down and made a fortune. ARAH prices are INSANE right now.

I can't say I've bought much in ages though a buddy has been picking up the new 6" figs for me even though I was waffling on getting them. He's managed to find everything but the Cobra Island stuff with constant visits to TrU. I decided to get them to reward his persistence but I haven't opened any of them.

Collection is still out on display minus the Flagg and HQ due to space constraints. I can't say I've TOUCHED anything in 2 years or so other than dusting.

Oh, I bought that retro AWE Striker. I liked the sturdy box!

I stumbled across an AWE Striker and a Snake Eyes at different times. I go to WM all the time looking for TFs and these retro items are WAY rarer than the rarest TFs.

Hopefully we'll see some more stock in the new year but I'm already not liking the changes to the FANG I've seen.

I got roped into selling at a toy show a couple weeks ago.

After unexpectedly trading for a Special Missions Brazil set I've been pulled back in.

I'd get a Viper glider I expect since I have the Falcon glider and it looks lonely.

Where's my Short-Fuze origin movie eh?

I've always HATED the whole ninja thing with GI Joe. Storm Shadow was enough. Snake Eyes still packed an UZI at least, Quick Kick was funny in the TV series and I let Jinx pass since the Joes didn't have a real ninja yet. Budo was the start of a long line of BS ninja/kung-fu/whatever characters that had no business in a military toy line. "Oh Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes are popular! Lets do a whole damn ninja team since BF2000 cratered so badly." It was just like what Star Wars is doing with Boba Fett now. He looked cool. "Shit son, let's give him his own TV series and movie to cash in and wreck the mysterious coolness that people liked in the first place." At least Lucas was above that crap.

Considering how this movie is likely to be pretty much a martial arts film, if it's successful enough to spawn sequels, imagine how not GI Joe the future of the franchise will end up. Also, how out of character is this origin film going to be for the franchise. The whole point of GI Joe:ARAH was that it was a TEAM. Can't they take the characters they have and make a decent team movie? I see Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li all over again sadly.

Hello from the West Coast. Still alive out here.

Only one new Joe this past year for me. A SA Cobra Officer it took me a month to snipe and cost a fortune. Can't wait for the next recession to drive the ARAH prices back down.

At least Transformers is moving in the right direction. Maybe Hasbro will see the success of the retro Bumblebee stuff and consider some Joe reboot with a bit of retro feel.

I'm still here! Why this site has such harsh password rules I'll never know. :D

I've been more interested in the current Transformers offerings the past couple years. TF is in a second golden age at the moment with all the G1 homages, Devastator, Predaking, Sixshot. Other than the original series, everyone's getting some love. Hell, they redid Abominus! Whod'a thought!?

I posted back in June(?) about o-ring prices since I thought I'd look into filling a couple hole in my SA collection. The vintage stuff is SO expensive now even compared to 5 years ago! Also, there's nothing on CL locally other than the usual people looking for $40 for an old Gung-Ho with paint wear and no weapons.

I keep an eye out though. It's too big a brand to let die but I guess the o-ring renaissance has come and passed and won't likely come again much to my dismay.

General Joe Talk / ARAH eBay prices

Is it just me or is there very little ARAH on eBay right now and what's on there is crazy expensive?

There also was a pretty good episode about the history of Joes in that Netflix toys series!
