I got a wedding invite in the mail last week, with the sad news. A good firend is getting married on the date of our Joe Con.

Ironicly, he was supposed to come this year.  :|

So it looks like I won't be attending. I'll try to make it up for the opening, but time will likely be too tight, as I have to get the baby off to my parents and get to the wedding by 4 (the con doesn't start until 2).

So sorry guys, and make sure to take lots of pictures.

I'm sure a casual get-together (kinda like the first meet) wouldn't be out of the question. I don't think Mike will want to plan TWO of these things a year though. It's more trouble than you'd think.

Well, I was trying to set-up and informal meet-n-greet for the Niagara/Buffalo/Ontario but no one was interested on the other boards I brough it up on.  I'd still be happy to have one late in the summer or something, but only if I knew a few people would actually want to be there.

I'm going to do Raptor (and everyone else) a favor......

I'll change the date AS LONG as people haven't started booking the day off or planned trips yet.

Any feedback is appreciated.

This is it however. There's no amount of Timbits in the world that will force me to change it after this..... seriously.... none....

I would have to check my calendar to see if I don't have a comic convention to go to the next weekend. (typing this at work).
