Night Viper
« on: October 03, 2010, 09:49:55 PM »

Like most people, when I first saw pics of the PoC Jungle Viper, I thought Night Viper. Here is a straight repaint (with a few bits and pieces cut off).  I didn't bother trying to make it ARAH accurate. I guess it's generic enough to fit PoC/Roc/Resolute/25th. There are a few touch-ups to left to do, but I'm happy enough with it that I might make a small squad of them.

Comments are always welcome.

*EDIT: I've attached a pic of JV to better illustrate the changes made to Jungle Viper. Basically, JV is mainly black with some avocado green. My version of Night Viper is mainly forest green with some black. Althought it does not look like it at first glance, NV is almost a complete repaint of JV.

This Night Viper looks great by ARAH standards!

OB, for someone like me who is very alien to ROC, tell me, what did you paint on this figure to make him this awesome? Is it the green color?

Looks fantastic. I can only imagine the neck muscles these guys must have to carry that kind of a massive lens on their visors.

Thanks guys.

LJ, basically, the entire figure is repainted in a color that matches the ARAH version more closely. I've attached a reference pic of the base figure I used.

Your repaint doesn't look like a custom at all. I am very impressed by the great quality of the paint application. Well met, Oreo.
