It might be early but I am not missing the NHL one bit. Gone another year for false hope of the Maple Leafs winning the cup. Oh well, I am getting my sports fix with the MLB playoffs and CFL/NFL.

Yup?who wants to watch a bunch of dorks cry about every call a referee makes...nothing worse than seeing millionaires wine about stuff...uh?which in the case of the NHL is every single call in every single game?lol?and I do believe that a ref has never once in the history of the NHL said after making a call??O my?you do not like the call?ok?forget it?no penalty???lol!!!!
Now maybe some people might watch and support another Canadian Originated Sport like the CFL...or something more community based!!!

Do I miss the dunks puking outside my store after a game?
Do I miss the broken beer bottles in my parking lot?
Do I miss the honking of cars when the Leafs ACTUALLY win?
Nope.
Not one bit.

I don't miss hockey. Baseball is more than enough for me.

As long as wrestlers don't go on strike or get locked out. There is always something to watch. My Sunday's are full of NFL football anyway.

Hey, I hope this helps the OHL. I believe it was last year the Kitchener Rangers won the season. K town was very happy with that so if it helps my home team (even if I'm not a hockey fan) then it's a good thing.

It'll be great to hear some quiet from hockey fanatics for a change. There will be less rowdiness and car-honking this season, which equals a good night sleep.

I miss hockey a lot. It's the only sport I care about :|

Yes, very much! Had to watch baseball! :|
But the media here in Calgary has hyped it up way too much, calling the infamous Red Mile, the Dead Mile.

But in Toronto, it's different. They will not support the 3 OHL teams in the area. The AHL team just left for Edmonton. They are just Leaf fans, not true hockey fans in my books.
