So are the remaing characters beside Back-Stop all characters that have gotten toys in the Joe mythos!?  Or are there any that are new unofficial characters, like BI, Shiver, Snaow Bank, and such?

Everything remaining is from the Joe Canuck mythos - but tied into the Hasbro Joe mythos.... so... I guess you could say , semi-unofficial? We have Hasbro's permission to use the G.I. Joe name, likeness, logos, ect - so I guess you could also say these are all semi-official?... I'd say they're about as official as the DeSimone figures that were available many years ago.

Everything will all blend perfectly and should seriously encourage all people to attend the Canadian Joe Convention on May 2nd.

There's a big announcement, and the actual debut of one of the figures happening this week. He'll have his own thread.

okay, here's my speculation on Mr. Baldy, assuming it's an existing character: Street Hawk.   Sure, he's not an established character in Hasbro's GIJoe but he IS official in the Funskool Joe line...  And the new 25th RAM would be AWESOME in black.    :shifty:

doubtful, maybe, but from Loop's picture of the bald man in back, I think he would be an AWESOME new version of Steet Hawk.

If we had the torso from Ace, that would be perfect - but the Street Hawk character is based off a failed 1980's TV show, and thus is owned (copyright) by another company. (I think Universal, CBS or some other one?)

So I can say 100% that it's not Street Hawk, and "Baldy" has nothing to do with anything even remotely like it. ...and unlike Back-stop, he doesn't come with a vehicle.

Black Ice in a new, more discreet, alternate uniform?   (I'm pretty sure that's a NO)

Funskool made that off a TV show?   I didn't even realize that, but yeah, I can see why that would kill any chance of it anyway.   Learn something new everyday.

One of the Cobras will get a vehicle, right?

Is it ever enough? ;-)

Originally, 100 would of been enough...
And it would of just been two items - at 100 each.

But now that we've gotten the final item in (and it's sitting in my basement as I type this), people are going to wish we had many MANY more.

Heck, our own Morgardee wants 3 now.

But.... that's not what I'm showing on Thursday. ;-)

Nope. I can tell you that with 100% honesty already. It won't be enough. Not by a long shot.

However we've gone from a run of 30 to a run of 100, and from 1 exclusive to 5. So realistically, the "work" involved in the exclusives has gone from 30 to 500 units. It's been a tough haul.

It's been a LOT of work from a number of different folks to make all this happen, but we are all very happy with the outcome. We hope you will be as well.

I think eariler I said it's between 100 and $125 for a set. We're still aiming for that price.

So plan for that. I WILL have a final price in a couple of weeks, once everything is accounted for.

If it's more, it will only be about $10.00 more. We're working on including a 6th item (not a toy).

so there are only 100 of each of the 5 items, making for a total of 100 complete sets, right?
