MOC Outback worth ?
« on: April 06, 2006, 07:36:27 PM »

I have  a MOC  Out back that  I just  aquired, and its in pretty  darn good shape,  there are only a couple of  creases.  Bubble is clear and dent free.

It's  on a Canadian  card... but  sincei don't  really do  MOC stuff, I am at a loss to its  value.

any help would be appreciated.

According to the Mark Bellomo Guide it would be worth about $50 US MOC.  However, people have been known to pay more.

The problem is many American collectors thumb there noses at carded Canadian items, which in turn effects the value. A Canadian MOC item should be worth more than the American equilivant as there less MOC Canadian items in circulation.  But that logic doesn't apply in the collecting community.  It probably has to do with the fact that french is on the packaging.  And most Americans don't hold French in high regard.

Pete's right about the french thing. A friend of mine is in the toy industry and he told me that if the package is not only in english, the americans wont buy it...

Of course I was kidding about the AFA thing, in my opinion they're ruining the collecting hobby...
