I have MW2 but I just got it and I suck.  But I'm willing to play some board members as long as they promise not to talk too much crap to me  ;D

PS3 user name?  OlYeller01.  What else?

Everyone has to start somewhere.  I'm around level 65, prestige 1 and I plan on going to prestige level 2. I just need to get my about 60 more head shots with the Famas (probably the hardest assault riffle to use next to the FAL) and about 99 more head shots with the PP2000 (one of the easiest automatic pistols / secondary weapons).

Just a heads up, if you plan on doing the prestige levels then the first round doesn't really count. If you clear all the head shots / kills, etc with something like the M4A Assault riffle, when you open up the prestige section there will be 2 more levels "Veteran" and "Harden" or something like that. That means you will have to do that gun you just cleared all over again. The positive is anything in prestige addition will NOT reset if you level up again. You do 9 levels of prestige.

I've been playing this game since the first day it came out and I still love it. I have a stack of games I still have to play but I just keep coming back to MW2. I finished Uncharted 1 a few weeks ago, started Uncharted 2 but found that 2 part 2 is more of the of the first game, so I went back to MW2.

The first few levels, yes.  :shifty:

Multiplayer - hell no. ;-)

Don't worry Mike, I'm going to get back to Uncharted 2. It's just that I need a few hours for a game like that. The advantage MW2 has for me is that I sneak downstairs and go on line, play a map or 2 in 10 - 15 mins and then go back up stairs to the family. It's hard for me to get a block of 1 - 2 hours of "me time" when I have a toddler who wants to play with me. Very common question in my house is "Do you want to play with me daddy?"

I love it when my favorite show meets my favorite game.

My Toddler is 19 months old and I have not had time to even power on my Wii or DSi! One day I will play video games again.

Morg and Dodge, I'll accept ya'll as soon as I get back on again.  I haven't been online in the past week bc I've been taking care of crap with my poor damaged Stang, and don't know if I'll have time this week because the freaking 3rd ranking guy in all of Sherwin-Williams is visiting our store this week, so I know I'll be pulling some late nights at the store.

What happed to your Stang?  It sucks when the Big Wigs come for a visit! You have to clean the store and make it perfect for them or you'll never hear the end of it.

My Stang got run into by an idiot who didn't know to yield the right of way on a left turn, apparently.  It's in the bodyshop right now, he basically sideswiped me so my driver's side is pretty torn up  :'(   And yes, I'm already hating this bigwig visit and it's still 3 days away.  We've been repainting, replacing the carpet, replacing some messed up floor tiles we have, etc etc

Woooo Hoooo! New map packs for the PS3 and PC are now out for MW2 and IT'S DOUBLE XP time. I'm prestige 1, level 69 so I should be rolling over to prestige 2 maybe tonight. Just means I loose all the cool guns.

I think the double XP ends after this weekend.

Anyone who plays this game, now is the time to play.  :mrt:

True and I agree with out, but I also know I'll get my money's worth out of it. I play this game 3 - 4 times a week.

Plus, you don't need to have the map packs to get the double XP.

Are you on the PS3 or PC? If PS3, what's your user name?

Add me, I'm "Morgardee" but you should still post your user name here. I don't except friend requests on the PS3 from people I don't know.

I go to my neighbour's house to play Modern Warfare, since I'm jealous of you guys.  Man playing that scene at the Moscow Airport, crazy!  So I did the level 3 times.

Ah, you are talking about the level known as "No Russian". That level was removed from some countries versions on the game. I've played it twice myself, but that's because I accidental wiped out all my MW2 game saves last Friday and I'm doing it again. I beat it on normal and I'm almost finished hardened. All I need to do is "veteran" and I'll have finally played a game through all levels (not counting beginner).

I also lost all my 2 player Co-Op missions, which sucks but I play with buddy Mikey and he and I have so much fun playing those together that it's not that big deal.

What I was most worried about losing was my online score. That's taken me at least 6 months to get. Thankfully, the MW2 servers store that data, so I'm still Prestige 2, level 27.

Man I love this game.

At least they are not going back to WW2.

Surprised they haven't thought of "Urban Warfare".
