Thanks for the tip! I went down there. Then...showed restraint. They had a ton of Indiana Jones figures there for $3.95 each. I don't actually collect the line but I picked up a figure of Indy's "son" Mutt. I did so because for months I've been wanting to get one to call "Spike" and have with my Transformers. So I did just that now that they're cheap and I painted an Autobot symbol on his Jacket for kicks. He's standing beside my Bumblebee.

Yeah, I was going to pick up that burning heart guy (can't remember his name), but I didn't.

Also, our Zellers has the IJ Cargo Truck in which I know a lot of people like to use for a Cobra troop transport.

One case of wave 10 out. Our Walmart is officially the worst one for Joes.

ohhhhh wave 10. I got it confused with 11. My Matt Trakker dreams go unfulfilled once again. I did get some Marvel figs in the Joe scale. :)
They were over a buck more for the Marvel stuff then the Joe stuff and I would like to add the Joes are better quality.

edit: I sent Walmart Brantford an email asking them why we don't get the product that Cambridge or Woodstock gets. I wonder if they'll reply. lol.

Georgetown walmart has good selection, that inclueds the eels, and few others from newer waves. Also lots of the usual peg warmers eg. Wild Bill

I actually got a call yesterday from the Brantford Walmart manager. He said that Brantford is a busier store and that's why they never have any Joes in. I mentioned that if I go to Cambridge or Woodstock they have like 4 or more pegs of them compared to Brantford's one peg (sometimes 2) and that if those of us in Brantford are not there the day they get stocked we don't get them. He said he'd look into ordering more in the future. I don't think they realize just how much people want them.

More product on the pegs would be very nice.

I think retail is still afraid that Joes are poison, cuz, you know, nearly 20 years of average to terrible product and sales. When I was still collecting in the 90s before the fall of the ARAH line, I was routinely picking up product that had been on the shelf for years. I'm talking 1992 cards and vehicles as late as the end of '94. It's no wonder retail is being cautious with Joes now. The movie should invigorate things all over at least.

I'm worried that they'll order lots of movie toys and they'll sell as well as poor Indy did. I know I don't want the movie toys unless they end up being really great. I'll probably get one or two.
