PoC in winnipeg
« on: September 03, 2010, 05:53:09 PM »

for those waiting for confirmation that they have arrived in Winnipeg, Regent Ave Wal-Mart has the figures in stock. Thanks to Olyeller's reviews I gave in and picked up Snow Job, Alley Viper, Firefly, and Beachead and Storm Shadow..... they are amazing.
I skipped on Duke, Cobra Commander though.
They also had the mechs (joe and cobra's), the doom cycle, wolf hound and one more vehicle which name eludes me at the moment.

I now hate myself.....hehehe

There was a restock of POC in my local Walmart ( Saskatchewan), with double the amount of the items from the first stocking--picked up a second Cobra Commander today. Snowjob seemed to be a variant or running change, as he had NO snow on the beard.

I love the packaging on these. A nice retro feel to them.

After a long time I can finally add some news. I found the Cobra Ice Cutter (with snow serpent officer) and the A.W.E Striker (with Night Fox) at the Regent Zellers. I think they scanned at $19.99.

Looks like POC Wave 3 is making it's way east.

In my AO, which is west of the 'Peg, I have seen stocks and restocks of Wave 2 at both Zellers and Walmart.
Saw plenty of Jungle-vipers on the pegs at one of these.
Also, I have a..........source who works in a local Zellers, who told me of new cases of wave 2 arriving this past week, so stock is still shipping and arriving this close to Christmas.

Wal-Mart St. Vital has wave 3 although all I could find was the storm shadow. On a sad note, both Regent Zellers and Regent Wal-Mart have zero pegs for joe figures. Both only have a bottom shelf for vehicles, most of which are the mechs. This annoys me since this is my main hunting area. BOO!!
