So we are nearing the end of the year and I just wanted to see what you guys thought. If you are not sure what came out, take a swing by Yojoe or whoever to get an idea.
For me the vehicle was a toss up between two. I LOVE the new HISS, especially in black. It was a great design when it premiered in Resolute and it was only made better in all black. I love the angular lines and the multi-port guns. The moving treads were just an extra joy. The only real bump was their choice in colour for the first release.
However I can't pass on the Polar Sharc. Initially I was not impressed from the movie, but after getting my hands on the toy my tune was changed. I think it was a great design with a good mixture of plausible technology and future tech.
As for figures I really had it come down to 2 classic characters. Resolute SE and POC Alley Viper. There were a lot of great figures, especially thanks to POC but these two really stuck out for me this year. SE was a great and subtle redesign and update, and he came with some of the greatest accessories! The POC Alley Viper was the same story. While not techincally an update per se, it was a great colour scheme and a great figure.
The other great part of 2010 for me was Hasbro's utter fanboy joy by giving figures a bunch of accessories, and then throwing on a bunch more for good measure.

Going by the yojoe.com list for 2010, I would pick sgt. slaughter or the adventure team commander as the best figure of 2010. But the roc leatherneck might have beat them out. Best vehicle, the snowcat (wolfhound).

Top Vehicle: POC Wv2 HISS Tank.

And the HISS tank is a toy that's fired up my imagination some. Just loving POC as a whole--a fantastic shot in the arm for G.I.Joe.

2010 Top Figure - POC Spirit - That was the first POC figure I got my hands on and I was really impressed. I could see great things coming with the POC line.
2010 Top Vehicle - Vamp - I think the Vamp is a great vehicle. The extra ports so you can move around the weapons make it easy to change the look of it. I wans't a fan of the red chassis until I read on one Q&A that it is that colour because it is a custom rally suspension (or something like that)
(2010 Top Comic - Cobra #9 - The Coil and their influence. This was a great comic with Scoop. I could write more, but I don't want to be a spoiler. It was my favorite this year and wanted to add it to my list of 2010 fav's)

Loved the Snow Job figure.

I have to say the unreleased Ripcord is #1 on my list with Snowjob and Beach Head a close second.
The Hiss is great. But like every other Joe fan out there and on this board it should have been black from day one.

Best Figure: PoC Dusty, always been one of my fave characters, nice to see him get this modern update.
Best Vehice: PoC VAMP, as I couldn't find a HISS or a Wolfhound, this is the best of vehicles that I got for 2010.
