Just call him Mutt for my sake. At least a new version of him is coming out. A Joe winter 6 pack. This is going to be interesting.

LOL. "Just call him Mutt for my sake." Hope everyone caught that little joke.

Anyhow, sucks Torch is still missing but if there is a chance to see some classic 'noks with new head sculpts I'm so all over that. Thrasher needs the new head the most of those 3 listed. I don't see how they could improve Buzzers head as that is one of my all time favs. but Torch could use some new sun glasses. Get him out of the 80's already! The other things on the list are cool, but all I can think about are Dreadnoks.

Post by: akpayne on January 18, 2005, 09:07:36 AM: I love the comic three packs - they would have been the first set of Joe that I would have bought two - one to open, one to display, but again they were never sold in Canada at mass retail - I went to Silver Snail to pick some up, but by the time I got there, they had sold out.

I hope the Breaker, CC and Scarlett pack is released. It would shut up some of these so called experts that believe the Scarlett mould is lost, missing or whatever the excuse was to hold back this pack.

Post by: Scramble on January 18, 2005, 12:59:10 PM: A few months ago, Previews offered the first two waves of Comic Three-Packs, available to Canada. I don't know what Hasbro Canada thinks of that, but it is posible to get them here.

It largely deals in comics, but also contains apparel and merchandize that would appeal to fan boys. GI Joe products are often included but with the ?Not available outside the US because Hasbro Canada hates you all personally?. The Comic Three Packs included no such disclaimer.

It?s possibly an oversight and my order will be rejected, but so far no such thing.

From the guy at FutureShop in Hamilton... you have "THE WORD" - just let me know - I would also be interested in all the other two packs as they come out.

The latest newsletter from Smalljoes says they wont' be getting the next two waves of comic three packs. Apperantly the demand for these packs was higher than Hasbro anticipated, so the majority of their stock is going to the big retailers.

Hope I'm wrong, though.

Post by: Redmao on January 31, 2005, 01:11:50 PM: I got that newsletter too..man that sucks! Hasbro did a wonderfull job with those packs...except for the number produced. That's too bad since we don't have any big retailer in Canada that have those in stores ( I'm looking at you TRU canada!!)
