Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a little bit, read all the newsletters, excited about the convention, hoping I can go this year.  I've been a joe fan since my cousin showed me the fold out pack-in catalog in '82.  Got back into collecting about a year ago with the 25th line and some vintage.  Recently got the HATE set, very cool!  Hoping to get those trading cards...

Actually, got the set from a guy over at Hisstank.com.  He got the set from ebay...

Understandably so.  Coolest hisstank ever in the history of G.I. Joe.  But the set is great in all the other areas, too.  The characters, filecards, stickers, comic, even the box.  I enjoyed getting familiar with the other canadian exclusives through the comic.

The HATE set is a rare treasure - especially for someone who just got back into collecting a year ago!

Thanks for the welcome guys.  Last summer, my wife calls me from a pawn shop and says the guy will sell "all his gi joe stuff for a hundred dollars."  Ended up, I got a Flagg that was missing about 17 smaller pieces mostly, a stripped defiant and gantry, and a couple big boxes of broken and/or missing parts vehicles like the skystriker, night raven, mauler, stun, mobat.  Like I said, broken...  Got a mobile command center missing nearly all the outside parts and a couple inside.  Ended up paying 150 for all the stuff.  And I still have my collection from my childhood including a terror drome.  :)
