So we are nearing the end of the year and I just wanted to see what you guys thought. If you are not sure what came out, take a swing by Yojoe or whoever to get an idea.
For me the vehicle was a toss up between two. I LOVE the new HISS, especially in black. It was a great design when it premiered in Resolute and it was only made better in all black. I love the angular lines and the multi-port guns. The moving treads were just an extra joy. The only real bump was their choice in colour for the first release.
However I can't pass on the Polar Sharc. Initially I was not impressed from the movie, but after getting my hands on the toy my tune was changed. I think it was a great design with a good mixture of plausible technology and future tech.
As for figures I really had it come down to 2 classic characters. Resolute SE and POC Alley Viper. There were a lot of great figures, especially thanks to POC but these two really stuck out for me this year. SE was a great and subtle redesign and update, and he came with some of the greatest accessories! The POC Alley Viper was the same story. While not techincally an update per se, it was a great colour scheme and a great figure.
The other great part of 2010 for me was Hasbro's utter fanboy joy by giving figures a bunch of accessories, and then throwing on a bunch more for good measure.
