Title: What do you think of the new Cobra Six pack?
Post by: Spillspleen on January 28, 2004, 09:33:34 AM: I have one now...only one on left on the shelf...anyways the backpacks and the guns are no good...and the heads are not as nice as the original ones but as for the rest they are not bad...anyone else have them yet....if so what do you think...???

Only if I go over the Ontario border. In B.C. I will only have room for some small items as I usually pack a full suit case.

Post by: Spillspleen on February 11, 2004, 09:28:32 PM: Sorry about that last post...just mad...I can get some nice stuff here for a change but I can get nothing in return...it takes me about 3 to 5 hours to do my DARKSIDE trip...and I hate the U.S. (sorry to those Americans out there) but its like Mars or something....everything is different to the point that I do not like it...and when I am home I swear that i will not go back...but then I need some toys and off i go again. Anyways I am spilling at the mouth it would seem.... :roll: sorry...!!! Anyone who want s some please feel free to have a look at my list and if you can help in any way I would consider risking turning to the Darkside yet again!

It's safe to say that I experienced the same feelings as Carl went I went to darkside last week. I was scared shi*less due to the fact I was driving a car cental with no miles indicated on the dashboard. It is two different worlds. I almost kissed the Canadian soil went I got back and I was happy to pay the duty. It was like getting an "out of jail free card". When I was in Buffalo with a local collector, we both didn't feel comfortable either. I especially didn't feel comfortable in a Buffalo Walmart with a security guard armed. I have never seen that in all my years in Canada. That stunned me.

Post by: commando guy on February 22, 2004, 09:42:18 AM: I would love to get my hands on these. I've got a very small army right now and even just two packs would be great. I think this is a great idea on Hasbro's part, and kudos to them for recognizing what the fans want.

I also want to echo the sentiments that if they brought things to Canada, they would do well. I mean, I've bought almost every Joe product that comes to Canada, just because I can buy something that is Joe, not because the figures are particularly great. Even just the TRU exclusives would be awesome to have here.

I have to honestly say that this may be one of the best things that Hasbro has ever done. I keep looking at them out of package, and... well there just seems to be so many of them. 6 figures for $20 is a great deal, and as you can see, they just can't keep them on the shelves. In fact, they may have created a product that they can't flood the market with, because demand keeps rising.

I hate the guns and the backpacks, but I have enough weapons pack AK's to arm my group. I have to honestly say that I actually like collecting joe again. Now I need a Night Force pack, and I'm good for the year... LOL

Raptor: A six pack in each hand and a smile on my face.
