Title: Custom question about packages
Post by: morgardee on February 17, 2008, 03:07:11 PM
Anyone know a good way to get the bubble off a G.I.Joe card without using a knife. I want everything to remain in good shape. Is there a way to break down the glue? Right now I have a 25th anniversary Snow Job on top of my gas stove and I'm trying to heat up the glue so I can pull the bubble off.

Anyone have another suggestion?

I am wondering if a hair dryer might work in drying up the glue.

Well the gas stove started to warp the bubble, so that didn't work. I tried throw the figure in the frezzer after that but that didn't work either. So far it looks like the only thing that works is a knife but the resealing the card is out of the question.

I gave in and just opened my 2 new figures.

Tried the hair dryer.  It wasn't doing any thing.

If you're going to open them why worry about the packaging, especially if you bought the canadian carded ones. ???  These suckers are gluded down pretty good.

To make custom cards out of them. The Canadian cards are excellent for custom work, thus the title of this thread.
