I am also hoping that these aren't the "real" production figures. I remember hearing that the production had screwed up good sculpting before, and if that's what prod does to them, they have a legitimate beef.

I'm still hopeful, but I can't believe how bad that roadblock looks after how great the riginal shot was....

I like Duke and Destro better like this...

Roadblock is just a big WTF.

Baroness' face sucks.

CC's head is too skinny now.

Gung Ho and Cobra Officer are ok.

Scarelett is ok.

Snake Eyes still rocks.

Storm shadow's proportions are way out of whack.

I am hoping the ones being shown at ToyFair are earlier prototypes - and the ones that got posted online are from closer to the finished product.  Oh please let me be right - I was really looking forward to some good looking action figures.
The ones that were posted earlier aren't too different from the ones in these ToyFair pics.  I was comparing Roadblock's heads earlier and it's pretty much the same.

Since when did Roadblock grew some hair underneath that helmet? And why do they all have cartoony eyes?

More like cartoony heads rather than just eyes.  I'd much rather if these figures looked like their Marvel Comics versions of themselves rather than this Sigma 6-influenced look.  It doesn't feel right.

Wow those new figures went from amazing to shit in a blink of an eye. Probably the final nail in the coffin for me for collecting Joe stuff.

In case you were wondering, the next five figures as shown in the lastest MC newsletter are

Flint
Cobra Commander with hood
Snake Eyes v2 with Timber
Storm Shadow v2
Cobra Officer

Once again, the preproduction figures look good. But I will until I see the final product

Its funny that V2 Storm Shadow has a cobra base.
That Flint is very cool.

Amazing figures. Fall will be great!

Not to promote another site, I just thought everyone would be interested....
The 25th Anniversary figures are now up for pre-order at Brianstoys.com

http://www.brianstoys.com/store/categor ... oryID=3485

it looks as if they are selling them for $29.99 for five figure Cobra and 5 figure Joe packs, available on June 15,  2007.

One of the sights said these were to be sold individually, not sure if that?s before or after the first two 5 packs??

Wonder if they will have their act together enough to include figure stands with all of these guys?
