Joe Meet Figure 2008
« on: August 12, 2007, 10:09:26 AM »

Canadian Joe Meet Figure 2008 is decided.
Parts, Name, colors - all of it!

If not for Ed feeding me and my wife last week - I'd still be thinking of what it would be!

So you all owe him some thanks... he literally thought of half the parts! ;-)

I'll give some insight into it later this year.

Let's just say, in my honest opinion.... this guy rivals Black Ice perfectly, and is MUCH cooler than Shiver. ....and yes, he is a Joe. ;-)

If this guy turns out half as cool as it looks like he'll be, then that's all the thanks I need. I can't WAIT to see the "prototype" all done up.

With 8 months until the meet, let us know if you need us to keep our eyes peeled for parts. PM if you want to keep it on the hush hush.

Damn you, Ed. Mike's rejected my "Arctic Alligator" idea in favour of your thing. Whatever it is, it couldn't be as cool as a mix of Croc Master and Frostbite parts.

Hmm... I may have to make Arctic Alligator.

Looks like I'm out of the  :loop:  I could see the boots and torso as looking good in light blue drybrushed with dark blue.

Ok.... before anyone starts thinking the figure will have those two figures in it - it won't.

I watched my Nephew last night, and he "customized" some joes, he made a guy from Croc master, Frostbite and Quick Kick parts - called him the "Winter Croc"

Scrambled Arctic Alligator remark was just too funny and ironic for me!

That is pretty funny, but it's not ironic. It's coincidental.

This is a sticking point for Scrams, so you'd better pay attention. One visit, and he had me rethinking the entire use of the word Ironic, and for that reason, almost never use it anymore.

Still, I like the idea of exploring Crock master parts painted something other than alligator green...
