I saw some wave 12 figures at G.T. in St. Catharines today. Lots of Cobra scuba troopers, Ripper, and Tripe Wire with yellow mass device element. $9.99

$9.99? At Giant Tiger? They can stay there for that price.
If they were $5.00 then I might go look. There is a Giant Tiger just up the street from me.

Haha...tripe wire. Struck me as funny.

I might check it out, but that's pretty expensive, for Giant Tiger.
They're supposed to be a discount store... So much for that, I guess.

I have all of that wave - it is the next wave that I was never able to find all of...I don't think it ever showed up at Canada retail?
-
As far as I was ever told Hasbro never bothered to print up and package the final 25th-style wave for Canada/international. Who knows though, I wouldn't be too alarmed to see them show up unannounced at Winners in a year on bilinqual cards. Someone on this board (don't know if they were lying) said they found carded American versions of 09W1 at Wal-mart, but in all my obsessive shopping I never saw them, not even a trace. Comic shop is the only place I found them and that was only once.
Luckily you can order in any figure in that final wave, Blowtorch is great. I still want the Resolute dudes too.

I also saw the wave with Spirit, Snake Eyes, etc at a local Giant Tiger - along with the 25th Hiss Tanks and Serpentor Chariot sets.
They had some Animated Transformers as well - all at $9.99
Oh, and some Star Wars - also 9.99.
I think Giant Tiger must of gotten an account to deal with Hasbro directly. Usually they carry clearance / discounted items - not "current" stuff.

Hmmmm. I wonder how Samco / Miko is going to be this year and next year.
Hey Pete, you might be getting some pm's in October.

Might be a month too late as they open up in the middle of September.
