Haza, I found both sets today at my local TRU in Whitby.

Surprise, surprise, they had a problem with the SKU number for the CG set.  So I did what Dave did, by showing off the SKU number from my Blackberry to the TRU person.  That offically my friends nerded me out today.  How embarassing.

I was in London just this weekend and they had nothing. Curse them. Curse them to heck.

:chicken:

Rotten timing!

I'll be up in Ottawa next Thursday, so I plan on visiting the stores up there.  Crossing my fingers in hope to find one.

Picked up a Crimson Guard set but passed on the one and only 3 pack with Cutter. I was walking around with it for a while but I couldn't justify the purchase as I only want Cutter and even then the Gung Ho hat bothers me too much. They also had at least 25 vehicles (mostly the new bilingual packaged Hiss and the Armadillo and Chariot).

Lots of the 3 packs at Hamilton TRU and a few of the 5 packs, lots of DVD packs. I had a friend picke me up the IG and that flier pack, as well as the FF and greenshirts so that I could get Topside. ;-)

Funny thing too... wife and drove by TRU the other day, she asked if I wanted to go in, I said I would pass, as I didn't think TRU would have anything I wanted.. now I'm kicking myself.. have to check for the Crimson Guard pack next time I'm out. $19.99 is even better than they sell them for in the states as I believe they are $24 there... crazy!

It's too bad we missed out on the first wave of exclusives.  I'd love to see them re-release the first run of Senior Ranking Officers and Troop Builders.  Not likely, though.

Yeah I would have loved the two Cobra Senior officer packs from wave one.

Toys R us in St. Catharines (as of last night):  had both packs (I picked up the green troop builders set).  The also had the DVD sets, some carded figures and some comic sets (none of the new ones).

I tried to pick up a CG 5 pack, and the scanned price came up 39.99.  :- I happened to have my receipt for the other 5 pack that I got for 19.99, and convinced them to match it, but I was shocked by the new higher price.

Granted it's more in line with what I expected TRU to charge, but still, there was no way I was going to pay it.

The one Between Burlington and Mississauga just off the QEW. Has  A big Babies R Us in it, and is beside a Dollarama and a Chapters.
