A few others:
Pink Floyd
Iron Maiden
Classic Rock (60's-80's)
80's Brit synth pop

This was one of the few highlights of the '00's for me.
Pink Floyd Live8 2005

Ah yes Waters and Gilmour reunited.  Pink floyed def. in my top 5 bands. Its a shame whenever you see one of there shows, the set list is always the same. Always playin there 15 most famous songs.

This is my favorite Floyed song.

GI.Suicide:
The Clash # 1
70s pre punk
Late 70s British/yankee punk
80s American hardcore (Bad Brains, Black Flag, DRI, Cro Mags for a few examples)
Insert lots of street punk (krum bums, the unseen, monster squad, government warning, the virus )
Mix in some Social Distortion some old school country some garage surf and some thrash metal with .....a case of beer. ... Awesome!

Basically. I could spend 3 days listing bands I like from the Beatles and hank Williams all the way to Municipal Waste and Havoc!

My uncles 70 yrs old, and he's always working in his garage with The Cure full blast on the stereo. ALWAYS with the cure.
Don't get me wrong. I like The Cure but not none stop all day every day. So i brought him the KILLERS battle born cd. He liked it, he was like " wow, there good where did you find them ? '' . I was like " wasn't hard, there only the biggest band in the world right now " LOL

Then i lent him the Direct Hits album they just released, that was 2 months ago. Dont think ill see it again. Ill have to buy myself another copy
