Title: 25th Custom Snowbank
Post by: NeoDragonKnight on January 11, 2010, 10:07:06 PM
Its been a long time coming, Ive had the parts for 6 months but didn't attempt to do it till now.  I'm actually a bit disappointed in myself in how it turned out, its not terrible but I think I could have done better.  I experimented a bit with dry brushing, but didn't use a dark enough base coat, so when I dry brushed the white it only came out faintly.  I also have to get a Canadian flag mini sticker for his chest.  The helm is from Broken Arrow.  I think I might try Snowbank again but this time using the Red ROC Lamprey if I can get a hold of a decent priced one.  But first I have to finish the set with Tim-bit.

Hey man I think you're beeing too hard on yourself with how Snowman came out. He looks just as great as the original. Believe me, owning him, I can tell you that you aimed just right. The boots are different from his ARAH counterpart but difference makes him unique.

The funny is that I'm currently working on ARAH Timbit as well, but I'm really taking my time. When do you think you can be finished? Would you like to showcase him together with mine? You know like a Past and present 2-pack . That would be cool.

haha I have an idea for him, Ill try and work on him in the next few weeks.  Hes not too hard to do, finding a good head is the main thing, I might try to give him a more military look though.  Btw lppl are starting to asking about Joe Canuck now on Hisstank.com b/c of the custom, free advertising and plugs for you folks

I continue to like your stuff, so if you think you can do better I'd like to see it. It already looks good already so you've piqued my interest. Keep up the great work.
