Nice - just printed it for the other 4 guys in the office.
Their not toy collectors, but they get a kick out of the mag.

Very nice as usual! It's nice to read what goes on in the head of a customizer.  Now with Jason's Comic Who are the Twins?

I (naturally) assumed it was Tomax and Xamot.

I was hoping that they were the twins, but I did not want to assume...

It is the Crimson Twins. One of them has the scar on the cheek.

Deadlines.
Everyone has them, and the JoeCanuck newsletter is no execption.
I put aside one day to make sure I get this done, so I need things in by that day. Other people have things they need to get done off-line as well - so from time to time people may not get an article in for various reasons.

Hopefully it will make it in next month!  ;D

I knew LJ would be first to answer the pictures.  I wish I had about 25% of LJ GI Joe knowledge

Case in point - Mother Nature prevented me from contributing this month.  I was unable to return to Corpus Christi from my weekend trip to Houston because of very heavy rains and flooding from remnants of Hurricane Karl.  Look for a new PoC vehicle review next month!

But I must admit that I did flip through Bellomo's guide on the third one: It wasn't that obvious for me.

Don't worry I would have to use the Guide for all the pictures...

Agree. But don't forget that when it comes to 25th, ROC, POC, with the exception of the key characters I'm almost clueless. So while I might master the first half of the battle, you still excel at the other half  .

To Agent Loop: By the way, nice work on the comic book. I really dig that last panel and laughed real hard! I think you've proven one of your major strenghts: how to image-storytell. Four Thumbs up, keep up the great work!

Yep, and I haven't done one in two months myself because there are other things that have had my attention. I do plan on coming back to the news letter soon. I have an idea of something i want to work on.

Also, just a reminder, anyone can submit something to the news letter. Yes, there is a core team of writers, but this news letters is written by the fans, for the fans. You guys see my posts, I mash the keyboard, yet I'm still a regular for the Joe Canuck news letter.

I can't stress this enough. It's our news letter, for all of us. As long as it's tasteful and relevant, then chances are it will make it into a news letter. Do it enough and it's something you might be able to include in your resume.

Out of curiousity, how many of the newsletter readers own any of the Starduster mini comics?

I know I have 1 and 2, but can't remember if I have number 3 or not. :-

Uninvited guests, is one of the best Canuckhead volumes yet. These just keep getting better. Great job.

Nice to see the cameos by Crocmaster and Raptor at the party. and is that Big Boa and ICE Queen there as well?

Hey nice catch Editor! I wasn't paying attention at all to detail in the background. Another hidden talent of Loop's!

Upon looking again I also recognized Major Bludd in the crowd.

And you don't know yet if it's really Ice Queen but it would be a good guess.

@ The Mike and Loop: Is it really Ice Queen who gets kissed on her hand?

Hey, I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the comic! Editor, Latinjoe, and Bandanov each have a great set of eyes to collectively find all the cameos. So to confirm, those are the Crimson Twins and ICE Queen, Major Bludd, Croc Master, Raptor, and even a Fred made a small cameo appearance at the Cobra North banquet scene. I forgot to note that the comic takes place in Mont Tremblant. I'll make sure to add that for next year's comic book.

Mont-Tremblant, wow, that's an amazing detail you thought of for the story. It could also be Mont Saint Sauveur for all we know. I wouldn't be surprised if the chalet or mansion was also inspired by the local architecture.

+1 Timbit for you buddy!

well, Croc Master with his mask wasn't hard to spot. but i didn't actually notice Major Bludd and Ice Queen or Raptor. i was too busy reading the text and chuckling at the troopers wearing helmets and masks with their suits...

as for Fred... blonde guy in the red suit?

and is the big guy Bog Boa?

That's Fred!

The big guy is actually a character from my other comic series. And the blond guy with the gray suit is inspired by Ashley Schaeffer (google him).

Good thing you gave one, Bandonov the Sword Collector, and good thing that Morg's call beat me to it. I was going to tell you "Hey man, what's the point of pointing out someone's awesomeness and not awarding him a Timbit: What gives?"  ;D Good show.

Seriously, I remember cutting up tons of those cereal boxes to make the little computer/machine things, but don't remember ever saving an actual box.  :'(
