2010 Can Joecon Ice Guard

I'll switch the head if I can find the proper one.

So far no new tooling on the figures. Maybe most of the tooling budget went to Metal Head?
I think possibly a new head for Big Brawler, Iron Anvil, and General Mayhem. Though they could use Gnaw's head with Voltar's helmet for Mayhem I guess.

I think Take Down looks intimidating with that head, which is what I would think a drill instructor would look like. I do think the original head does look cool but I get more of an Ontario/Quebec vibe in regards to the style. The one with the cap and sideburns really captures an Alberta/Saskatchewan vibe to me, which I believe his file card says he's from Alberta.

I take it that the dye is used because it doesn't chip off like paint does. Was there any painting done on the figures or mostly dyes? If paint was used, what was used as a sealer?

Morgadee, did you do all of the Canadian Con sets?

The Coyote trooper looks more menacing with the helmet, and his facial expresion makes him look like more of a brute. Like it better. Take Down looks so much better with that head with the cap and the rolled up sleeves. I wish that was in the set.

That's very interesting. I always felt that the only troop builders were the blue shirts, the original vipers, the crimson guard and the bats and the others were a single specialist. To me the reason the specialists didn't have a name was because they were replaced whenever they were KIA. This also meant I didn't feel the need to by more than one of them either. ;)

Finally got the first two of the subscription yesterday and the cards and paint apps look good. Customs is gonna love me now that the dollar is down though.
Any other Canucks subscribe to the club's figure service? This one or the previous ones?
