Jody,

Best of luck with your family, and your job, it was a pleasure dealing with you the few times that I did.

General Joe Talk / Re: G.I. Joe 2014 Convention Set: Zombie Hunters
« on: December 16, 2013, 03:36:47 PM »
I've been ticked off at the club since the credit card debacle from a couple of years ago, merely because I was one of the victims that suffered from it. So I haven't renewed, nor will I ever renew. I also find it very elitist, seriously every figure they produce is at least $30 a piece, and that doesn't include shipping which is always ridiculous. Most Joe Collectors these days don't have hundreds of dollars to drop on figures at one time,(ie. $440 for non-club members for the 2014 Con Set). Additionally it's zombies, meh, and ECO warriors probably one of the WORST sub teams every created in it's neon glory, the only other thing that comes close is BF2000.

Another transaction with LJ, OUTSTANDING! I think there were more extra goodies, than what I actually bought from him. He is probably the most generous dealer I have ever dealt with in all of the time I have collected GI Joe. Great, great guy! You sir are awesome!

Thunder has been the hard one for me to find, though I am finally getting one. And Tollbooth, I've had the Toss n'Cross for awhile now, but never seem to set my sights on Tollbooth.

When I do get one, a couple of years down the road. I just bought a new 360 not too long ago after my old one died. It will probably an XBox 1, I've always had a better experience with X-Box.

Cool set, I have this bridge as well, just wish I could've gotten the other pieces like they had in the US figures.

General Joe Talk / Re: AFA Grading, love it or hate it. ?
« on: October 16, 2013, 10:16:53 AM »
I'm no fan of AFA grading, but I agree with G4MVP, people can collect how they want, if they have the bones to collect and pay for only AFA graded items, go for it. I personally collect loose, cause I like to 'play' with my toys, and I can also replace those pesky o-rings when they dry out  :P. I'm more concerned with scalpers who go into stores, buy out all of the hard to find figs, and then sell them on E-Bay or at local toy shows for a premium. AFA is for those who can afford it.

General Joe Talk / Re: club exclusive membership question
« on: August 30, 2013, 11:26:42 AM »
It is limited to one figure per membership, they usually put the exclusive figures up for sale in their store after they are all mailed out to club members. In the past I've purchased exclusives after I've received mine for friends of mine. Hope this helps.
