Ontario / BTR Liquidated at Party Packagers
« on: June 20, 2004, 03:39:51 PM »
Saw all of the smaller sets there today, all with a price tag of around $5 - don't really remember.

They had mountains of these sets so I am not guessing they are going to sell out any time soon.

Ontario / Wave 2 US Packaging at Walmart
« on: June 18, 2004, 11:42:44 AM »
Just saw them today, if anyone was looking for the US carded version of Wave 2.
Same price, but I also go the impression that this wave may soon be discounted at WalMart, as I saw the restock sheets, and the assortment number and breif description was for Wave 3 - but there was no room for Wave 3.
They also had the Destro 12" and Gung-Ho 12" figures.

I do wish they would get the vehicles, but I guess some stuff is better than nothing!

Not really Marvel Legends related but close.
I stopped at TRU today on my way home from work, and picked up the Ultimate Rhino and Black Costume Spider-man, for the recent wave of Spiderman figs.  I havn't seen these at all in store, and I think Canada missed a wave because I never saw any Carnage figures.

Anyway, the Rhino is really cool - I prefer the original Rhino's classic look, but he was lacking some decent articulation.  The Black costume SpiderMan is great, the glider he came with is lame, and is not the same as in the package art, but I really bought him for the figure anyway.  The best Black Cosutme Spidey to date. and the previous one wasn't that bad either.

I am going to go back and pick up the Cyber Spiderman figure as he looked pretty cool with all the little bits of armour and stuff, I will pass on the spiderman/peter park changing figure with detachable limbs as it doesn't look that great, and appears ackward to change back and forth.

Can't wait for the Sinister Six set!

Got my two figures in the mail today, that was super fast as the cheque only cleared on Friday - now to wait for the rest to trickle in!

The only place I have seen Prime in the last 3 or 4 weeks, has been ToysRus and he is still priced at the $90 range.

I can always hope that the day will come when I walk into a major retailer here in Canada, and see rows and rows of figures I only drool over when looking online.

it may happen, it may - ah crap, now I am kidding myself.

I know Mike mentioned that he would be getting these in, I was just wondering if anyone knew an approximate time frame for these to show up in Canada - 2 weeks? 2 months?

And is there any chance we will get the Chaser packs (DoomBot/Goliath/RedSkull) up here?

Anyone know if this one will show up in Canada?  It should be popping up in the US any week now, and the last round of Alternators were released in both Canada and the US around the same time.

I love this line, it is the first Transformers line, that if I don't have to go way out of my way to get them, I will pick up everyone.

Ontario / Wave 3 VvV in Canada

Has anyone seen the Snow Wolf/Bat pack yet?  I am betting we don't get that one, or it will be so heavily bought up that the other items will just sit on the pegs forever.  :?

Saw them today, they had all of them at WalMart for $9.97, they didn't have the Snow Wolf/ Bat V4.0 pack, instead it was the Duke/CC.

Any chance we will ever get the vehicles? Probably not.
