Joecanuck August 2009 Newsletter is Online!
« on: August 25, 2009, 03:56:55 PM »

It's that time again. The August 2009 edition of Joecanuck's monthly newsletter has gone live!

This month we look at the GIJOE Rise Of Cobra game, the plethora of GIJOE Themed party supplies out there now, an "unproduced" Resolute figure and much much more!

Check it out here:

nice issue. Like the resolute Roadblock review.

the game reviews (both monopoly and the video game) were nice, I think I'll pass on both of those. I'm curious, does anyone else think Helix is getting too much of a massive push in all formats.

Interesting idea for a birthday party.  I don't think any of my friends would be into that sort of thing. (wow that sounds dirty)

EE: That Scarlett, she seems to get around a bit.  ;D

By the way, the back issue page stops at May  :shifty:... so June, July and now August are missing...

Great work as usual guys, I especially enjoyed the Resolute Roadblock review.  Oh how I wish they had released Resolute earlier, so it could have taken off and we could have gotten all those figures in their original paint schemes!  I also sincerely hope, with the success of ROC, it means Resolute gets resurrected!

Stealth Viper, how does Resolute Roadblock compare height-wise to either ROC Heavy Duty?

Sorry - no RoC Heavy Duty to compare to (not a fan of the character).

He's taller than his 25th Anniversary counterparts, though.

You've been heard, but it might take a month or two to pull it off, since I am not really that good at sculpting. ;-)
