I'm getting sick of seeing $9.44 pricing everywhere I look, especially since hearing from our American friends that some stores down there are starting to mark them down to $5.

Also, speaking of Wal-Mart, how often have you guys found the Wal-Mart exclusive 2-packs?   

So far I've only seen them twice.   First time I grabbed Monkeywrench/Tunnel Rat.  2nd time I got Gung-Ho/Copperhead.    I have yet to find the Shockblast/Night Adder pack.    >:(

Thanks for the heads up.  Picked up a rescue pack today.  $26.24 on sale (reg $34.99).   Not too bad I guess.

I too have found Bench-Press.   But I've not seen the other 3 single-carded TRU exclusives yet.

As for Wave 3, I've only ever found Duke and Ripcord.   I still cannot find any of the others in Edmonton.  I've been looking for weeks.

I personally am not fond of this approach and wish they'd give those figures proper homage in appropriate packing.  Sure getting the figures is better than not getting them at all.  But as far as the three you mention (and add "Nitro-Viper" to that list as well), we get non-matching figure stands (or in some cases as with vehicle drivers, NO stands at all) and non-matching filecards.  While the stands I can forgive, the ROC-style filecards are a poor, poor substitute.  IMHO.

Is there any chance Hasbro could make another production run of the DVD Battle Pack # 5 set? 

I know this topic has been discussed before and Hasbro has merely said "Don't worry, they're out there" or something to that effect.  However I'm not aware of ANY confirmed sightings of the Pack #5 on Canadian store shelves anywhere.

All I see these days are the supplies being bled off via Ebay scalpers online, at greatly inflated prices.

As a compromise if my suggestion is not possible/practical, how about adding a single-carded 25th Alpine (true 25th, not ROC) into next year's lineup?   That would go a long way to appease the many many disappointed collectors out there that feel shafted by the DVD Pack # 5 fiasco.

Alberta / Has anyone found Collection1 Wave3 in Alberta yet?

This is the Rex the doctor, Paris Baroness, Artic SE & SS wave.

I did find a Duke delta 6 and Ripcord reactive armor figure recently at TRU, but no sign of the rest of the wave, so I don't know if that wave has come in entirety, or if the two figures I found came with one of the other waves as part of a "collection".
